Well, looks like you have Hashimoto's disease. But your TSH is very good, and your FT4 is slightly over-range. So, you'll never get a doctor to diagnose you with anything with those bloods.

Did you have them early in the morning and fasting?

I'm not sure , I think it was mid day and I think not fasted .It was last year and I've been really ill since . I do have hasimotoes , my antibodies were 217 and they say I have ME / CFS diagnosed at QE . I'm on 75 thyroxine.

OK, so in future, always have your test as close to 8 am as you can. And fast. Leave 24 hours between your last dose of thyroxine and the test. That way you will get a true result. Just refuse to do tests at midday.

Presumably you have symptoms, so that's why they diagnosed you with ME/CFS. But if you were correctly medicated, you probably wouldn't have ME/CFS.

And, whilst your FT4 looks good on that test - FT4 doesn't vary like TSH - it's not the whole story. Could be you aren't converting it very well. What you absolutely need is an FT3 test. It's low T3 that causes symptoms.

It would also be helpful to get your vit D, vit B12, folate and ferritin tested. All these need to be optimal for you body to be able to absorb and convert the hormone you're giving it.

Have you tried a gluten-free diet to lower your antibodies?

I'm at doctors today -have another nasty virus . will get the other results .

Vitamin D 86.2 range 50-140

 TSH 0.83 range 0.27-4.2

free T3 4.2   range 2.6 - 5.7

I'm trying gluten free . I have mentioned i may not be converting it well but they look at you blank and say No .all they worry about is that piece of paper and say thyroid is fine .

what should i do?   Thank you Grey goose.
