I was diagnosed with Graves' disease and was put on tapazole for hyperthyroidism. I was on the meds for about a year and three months. During my last visit to my Endo in January of this year, she told me my results were back to normal and asked me to stop having the meds. I now have developed bitter taste in my mouth - not sure if it has anything to with discontinuing the meds. Anybody faced this situation?

I'm hypothyroid so can't fully relate to Graves but I can relate to the bitter taste in your mouth. This happens to me when I am very undermedicated. In other words when FT4 and FT3 are too low.
It's a foul, acrid taste like petrol.
