Could someone comment on this my B12 was 485ng/L (130-1100). They also wrote that I am borderline B12

It's pretty low, especially as they have mentioned you being borderline. It's worth taking some Jarrow's sublingual methylcobalamin 5000mcg. Take it for a few months then you can test again and see if it has improved, if it has you could move on to their 1000mcg tablets. My B12 was very low and tend to use 5000mcg all the time and just take a month off every now and again.

Your result is better than many I have seen :-) Maybe you were taking a B Complex that contained B12 ?? - just a thought. It is often suggested here that having a result around 1000 is good when you have thyroid issues - to prevent cognitive decline. Sally Pachlok suggests this level in her book - Could it Be B12 ?
