Shazzy2 You are right! Here in spain they only treat with t4. I ask my gp about t3 and her face was dramatic!what the hell I was talking about! I order mine via internet but I know so many people here are under medicated due to the insignifficant knowledge of the Doctors. I am scared I am trying to get pregnant and I dont know how they will manage I am taking T3 alone.

Is it safe to have a pregnancy with only T3 meds? I tried levo but is not working for me and I feel better on T3 only but I dont know if is safe for the baby.

I think that it is safe being pregnant on T3. I think that it can be much more dangerous if you are not properly treated.

Many thanks! I will ask my doctor anyway and I will see her freak reaction ☺

T3 is the active hormone required in all of our receptor cells and T4 has to convert to T3. I'm sure your pregnancy will be fine. This is just for some information re pregnancy or hypo due to pregnancy.

I just wondered as I asked for T3 in one country but they were puzzled but understood liothyronine (sort of as my accent may not have pronounced it correctly).
