natural whole thyroid: where would I get natural... - Thyroid UK
natural whole thyroid
Where do you live? If in uk, NHS may support you...
Try Thyroid S from Thailand on internet. Cheap compared to Armour.
Seems so ,but i think mine came from the maker.Suggest you look at Thyroid Patient Advocacy (TPA) website where there is a description of the three Thai NDT products and suppliers. STTM also has some information on a paper entitled Armour and alternatives or some similar heading.
found a description and they seem to be the same - brown glassbottle etc and they come from a supermarket in Thailand - am always scared to try new meds - I have spent an absolute fortune on stuff and not used it - scared to make another mistake - I am due to have thyroid nodules removed in the next few months - might try after that
Know what you mean ,perhaps you should start a new post asking if anyone has used the supermarket for Thyroid S. There are others on the forum who buy from Thailand.
I have a bottle of Armour unused.! Not noticed any difference on NDT but only a week in.
I am taking 50 of levo for a week now but feel a bit breathless and heavy chested - don't know if it is connected or if it is my nodules causing it. Everything is so puzzling and scary. Told the doc how I felt and he said I was to go straight into a and e as he said it could be a blood clot and that was fatal. that was a week ago - I think all thse strange symptoms we all get is definitely due to the thyroid not working properly yet the thyroid is dismissed as unimportant - if only they could walk in our shoes........
On thyroxine your metabolism speeds up and thereby causes the appearance of potential other problems. For me it was angina type of aching across right part of chest and down arm when walking up a steep hill or when walking fast..This effect was mentioned over .20 years ago in a book by Dr Joan Gomez who said beta blockers would sort it.1.25mcg helped but still aching ,doubled up last week and just about rid of the aching.
yes me too - walking up inclines of any sort or walking fast etc - are you on thiroyd s at the moment - I though if I took that I would feel good and not be breathless. don't want to go down beta blocker route - that would make me put on even more weight. I sometimes wish I had stayed hyperthyroid and not had RAI
Yes ,on S but had it for 6 months before starting.I have not put on weight with beta blockers.
