Scalp problems
I had that problem years ago in the place I put shampoo on my head before rubbing it through my hair. I switched to organic shampoo and that fixed it.
Hi, funny enough was just going to post on here about something similar.
I've always had oily hair, then since thyroid problems an itchy scalp too and still oily hair. I can't remember who or where but someone told me itchy head was a symptom of being hypo, even if being treated correctly. In the last 2 months my scalp has got increasingly itchy and hair extremely oily more so that usual. I wash it each morning and by 3pm it's oily again. I've tried washing it every other day and using dry shampoo in between but that made no difference. My scalp isn't dry or flaky in the slightest. Have tried various shampoos, I rarely use a hairdryer or any products on my hair. I've googled a few things like lemon juice that didn't work so apple cider vinegar is next on my list or egg yolk, it's really getting to be a problem. Biocarbonate of soda is quite good as a dry shampoo, probably better than the commercial sprays you can find.
I'm also vegan, gluten free and only have caffeine a few times a week from black or green tea, no coffee.

Love chocolate, as I consume coffee, an love love chocolate 😊 thank you
I had scalp problems a couple years ago, really bad to the point were I would never have my hair down or wear a black top (when I always wear black)
I was prescribed Nizoral - done wonders at first but then my scalp got used to it and it came back with vengeance.
I was almost at tears one day and thought I need to find something else, and went to Asda to see if there was anything at all that wasn't for dandruff. I found Tresemme hair and scalp shampoo (£5 a bottle when its not on offer) I thought worth a try and honestly haven't looked back.
Hardly perfumed, and I don't see a speckle anymore.
Worth a try. I wouldn't use anything else (apart from when I go the hair dressers, but my scalp is fine once or twice not using it)
They have all different hair and scalp treatments too.
I'd give it a go - worked wonders for me
Omega 3 oils low? Sometimes skin problems can mean a omega 3 essential oil levels are very low and maybe omega 6 oils are too high. The skin is the last place the body scavenges omega 3 from for the organs if it doesn't have enough.
Use shampoos/shower gels without sodium lauryl sulphate or sodium laureth sulphate too. if it has these it is as harsh as car shampoo but with a nicer smell! They are very cheap foaming ingredients that can strip the natural oils from the skin.
Thank you very much I much appreciated yr input smiles.. I'll keep in touch
