prickly scalp

hi, I’m sure I read on here that someone had a prickly scalp or sensation of needles all over their head at night and of course I didn’t have time to read it at the time but now I can’t find it. Unfortunately I have started getting the same thing and wanted to know why it happens and what I can do. If anyone remembers it and finds the post I would be very grateful. Thanks x

hello, I’ve had something similar in the past and I’m not completely sure what caused it.

What are your suspicions?

Stress? Thyroid under/over replacement? Iron? B12?

Hopefully some others have ideas 🌱

Hi there I don't have any idea what could cause it, it seems to be after iv slept and wake in the morning mainly there are odd times earn I go to bed. Iv bought new pillows as its only when I lie down but when I wake up i could pull my hair out it's like burning needles at times.

Got itchy scalp after b12 injections, that turned into itchy spots on head.

I have had B12 injections for a few years now,nothi g like this b4 so I dont think it can be that . Nothing when I'm up and walking around only when lying down.
