Blood results

Hi I Av been the Drs and asked receptionist for thyroid blood results and was told there normal. Also just had tests done for b12 and iron due to my own request

I can see you have just joined so will not be aware that you need actual hard copies of your results with ranges for your own records. Normal is an opinion and NOT a result - so you need to post the actual figures before anyone can help you with advice. The Medics are governed by ranges - but where you are in the ranges is critical. People here will know better than your Receptionist I feel.....

Totally agree. It is your legal right to have a copy of YOUR results. Never, ever accept 'normal' or 'ok' from your doctor, because they rarely know what they're talking about when it comes to thyroid.

If they refuse to give them to you, they are breaking the law.
