Very seldom do I find something that works.

MSM is the most wonderful thing that I have ever found. I thought that I had better energy, now self-medicating with T3, but OMG, I wondered why I had so much more energy, since starting on MSM.

Going to my Salsa again tonight, just can't stop dancing!!!

Read the following, a long article, but so good. I take 2 x 1000mg daily, one in the morning, and one late afternoon, am going to step it up, try to take 3 daily.

Hi Langdocienne,

That is great news altogether, I ordered the same as you and will start them today. Is there any particular time to take them? Is it with or without food?

Thank you so much for sharing.

HI Jose651, best to take with some vitamin C, I squeeze half a lemon, and take my iron, and the other few supplements that I have in the morning, take the other tablet not later than 5pm, but am going to start taking one in the afternoon as well. I don't have anything to eat in the morning, but my brazil nuts, so don't take with food, doesn't seem to matter.

I'm glad you've found something so helpful. Just don't up your dose too fast as you may run out of steam. Take everything gently so your body feels whatever you're doing is 'normal' and not overstimulated.

It's great to be able to have the stamina to do what you want and dancing is great fun.

Best wishes for Christmas and the New Year.

Hi Shaws, yes I read about that, but I think that 3 x 1000mg daily will be ok, if not, will stay at 2 daily.

You too have a lovely Christmas and New year.

Taking it (plus other things) stopped my asthma, but I'm still tired all the time. Glad it's working so well for you.

What is MSM and what is it supposed to do?

langdocienne profile image
langdocienne in reply todecembersignup

Hi decembersignup, MSM is Methylsulfonylmethane, a naturally occurring chemical, but the supplements are manufactured. Loads about it on the net, too much to list. I am taking it, for even more energy, we need as much as we can get.

I have supple joints, but this is a preventative, great for asthma, I have 7 kids, 3 have bad asthma, and am in the middle of persuading one of them, to try it.

I take 2 x 1000mg at the mo, possibly stepping up to 3 tabs daily. Not to be taken at night, or sleep will elude you!!

MSM was recommended to me when I was taking honey for hay fever. I hate honey - ! - and my friend pointed out that it was a lot of sugar to eat every day, so recommended MSM. Capsules worked like a charm. The next summer I accidentally ordered tablets, which didn't work. In any case the capsules were a godsend.
