many thanks. i had been taking iodine/kelp and brazil nuts andthen thought iid try to thyroxine again, have been taking 50 a day but getting cramps in feet, pains in legs, do so as have the natural one already i thought id swap to that and see if i feel better.
another kind person told me a thyorid iss 62.5 grams. does it matter if you take too much so long as you feel ok. am also considering taking half and half. what do you take?
Personally I stoped my levo 2 weeks before starting NDT as the levo contains T4 alone which is a storage hormone and stays in the system for up to 7 weeks! I started on 1/4 grain of NDT and built it up over a couple of months.
Do you mean that you took nothing at all for two weeks? I am a bit puzled when people say take the thiroyd taiwan tablets and keep increasing until you feel better. Do they not work the same wayas the synthetics from doctor, where you are told how much to take each day according to tests? When I take the thiroyd tablet - just one - I get very depressed - it becomes awful. So many it is because I need to take more than just one? For past few days I have been on wockhardt synthetics and feel bad, a lot of coughing, bad head pains, so cannot go on like this. I only feel well when I take kelp/iodine and brazil nuts so far. But I have the other synethetics to try again and will gradually work my way through the options seeing which is best.
