Ok, I can't pronounce it, but any ideas as to the best make and the most cost-effective supplier, please?

I tend to go onto Amazon, look at their brands. prices, user comments and value for money and go from there. Otherwise I go for Jarrows Methyl B12 sublingual, because I find them as good as anything else.

I would go for sublingual methylcobalamin B12 because it goes straight into our bloodstream and if you do purchase anything at all from Amazon, it would be helpful if you use the following link as Thyroiduk.org.uk gets a small sum towards running the main office.
