What makes muscles weak, I can't seam to excersize without getting weak
Weak muscles: What makes muscles weak, I can't... - Thyroid UK
Weak muscles
It depends. You could be under or overmedicated. Hard to tell without knowing your dose or seeing some lab results. tiredthyroid.com/blog/2014/...
My muscles go weak and and tire quickly when I'm undermedicated .
The lack of thyroid hormones is the cause. Our whole body needs sufficient thyroid hormones to function normally.
Also if you are not yet on an optimum our stamina runs out quickly. Exercising before we are 'recovered' can also take up our T3 - the active hormone every cell requires. Our T3 is then reduced more quickly.
Diana, it's your low T3 that is doing that. If I were you, I would stop exercising for the moment - just a bit of gentle walking - until you get your T3 optimised.
Exercising uses up your T3, and you haven't got enough to begin with. So, be kind to yourself and take it easy. Let your body heal. Exercising is the least of your problems at the moment. You have to get your dose of T3 sorted out, and bring up your levels of D3 and B12 before you can even think of doing such things again.
Like a lot of us here I went from physically invincible to a feeble blancmange. It is really frustrating the I could work all day, every day, on the farm without feeling any ill effects; now I can barely walk more than a mile before something starts to hurt and I'm out of breath.
The effects of being hypothyroid for decades, and not being treated for decades, is difficult to assess as obviously I am a lot older than my fit period - would I have been this feeble without being hypo, or having been hypo. and treated? Who knows. I just know that I hate being weak when I had been so strong.
Exercising uses up T3 and if you don't readily convert it doesn't get replaced.
