I'm intrigued to know if when someone makes the comment "I find that brand weak" is that borne out in blood tests or just a feeling of being under medicated?
Does increasing the dose work or do you just never feel right on them?
I've been using Roma which seems pathetically weak compared to Tiromel... I shall test tomorrow to see if this is the case

10/10 for memory 👏👏 I increased my T4 back to 100mcg per day + extra 50 over the week when I started Roma, with the aim of getting it back over 50%.... yeah I know 2 changes at once but had only dropped the T4 for 6 week prior to Roma sooo 🙄
It'll be 5 weeks but I'm keen to see where I'm at with vit/mins etc and T3 more so than T4 and need to leave time to get my results ( i think the full screen takes a little longer) back before doing the 'official' blood test 😊
Just saying but due to Endo I did a test at 4 weeks, then stayed on same dose and retested at 9 weeks. My FT3 had dropped by 30% so do bare in mind the dose won't have 'settled' yet.
Yeah I hear you, I'm keen to see if my supplements are holding up... because of course we are told there is no difference in brands of the same strength is there 🙄
I've not seen the official results from the last blood test... no Endo contact though so they must be low! 🤣
Past experience🤞 I've been dabbling for 7 months now and getting a pretty good feel for it
I'm working on the premise that I previously felt great with T4 55% and T3 99% I only dropped the T4 to placate the Endo and see for myself if T4 was necessary as T3 is a game changer.... at the right dose!
I did 6 weeks of lower T4 before swapping to Roma and was already feeling the lag from the missing T4, which had already dropped below 40% since adding T3... hence reinstating and adding a little more. Then swapped to Roma and within a week I was feeling a whole lot worse, Roma doesn't have the uplift that you get with Tiromel I found.
I doubled my Roma dose and have regained some normality so wondering how that will show on the bloods... 25mcg of Tiromel used to put me just over at 105%.
I know it'll take a little longer to find my true T4 level but T3 bobs up and down a whole lot faster when altering doses
Interesting question. I suspect Morningside is weaker than Tiromel. No blood test results yet, but after 5 weeks on Morningside I don't feel as good as I did. I will be testing soon.
