Hi there

I am trying to find a phlebotomy service to complete my Genova Diagnostics tests. Not having any luck finding any one at the moment.

Has anyone found one?

Quite a few years ago I had some blood drawn at Bangor Hospital (NHS) with no charge for some private tests, I rang the phlebotomy department and asked and they were willing to do it. Not sure if they still will. I've recently had some drawn at Wrexham Spire (private) hospital but that was for a Blue Horizon test and everything was included in the price I paid to BH and The Spire dealt with every thing after the blood draw. I'm sure I also had a blood draw at a BUPA hospital years ago as well. Worth making a few phone calls.

I had blood drawn for private tests at my local NHS hospital a couple of years ago. At the time I was charged about £7, but last time I was there for an NHS blood draw I noticed a sign saying it now costs £18 for a private blood draw.

Thanks everyone. I finally managed to get some joy by phoning the hospital direct and getting put through to the phlebotomists themselves who said pop in tomorrow afternoon and we'll do it, no problem. The hospital is in Old Colwyn for future reference.
