NDT (thiroyd) by greater pharma

Good morning,

bought NDT 60mg tablets

I take levothyroxine 75mcg per day

My lab results

TPO-Ab/Tg-Ab (Tpoab) is

Thyroglubulin Antibody <20.0 IU/mL range <40

Thyroid Peroxidase AB <10 IU/mL range <35

TSH 2.16 mIU/L range 0.40-4.50

any suggestions on how to start and at what dose

Are you intending to take Thiroyd with Levothyroxine, or transition to Thiroyd only?

thiroyd has both t3 and t4, so i dont know what most people do, i think both

Arugala,

You are currently slightly undermedicated with TSH 2.16. Add 1/2 tablet (30mg) Thiroyd to 75mcg Levothyroxine.

If you want to transition to Thiroyd only, ask for advice in 2 weeks and I'll guide you.

oh, havent started taking NDT yet, its still in the mail. these are my results on levo only

thats what i thought, take 1/2 tablet (at 30mg) in morning, and still take my 75mcg levo at night?

Arugala, yes that's a good way. Don't worry about asking questions. Best to do so if you aren't sure. And, yes, I realised the results were Levothyroxine only

i just recieved my thiroyd NDT greater pharma 60mg in the mail this morninig.

i took half a tablet (30mg) as instructed according to my labs.

i plan on taking my levo tonight (75mcg) but not sure if i should lower that dose.

first morning on thiroyd, my head feels clear, im a pretty mean morning person, usually still tired, my family and boyfriend know not to talk to me for a couple hours. i dont know if im just having a fluke episode or if its starting to work, but im having a good morning, i took half a tablet of my levo last night (half of 75mcg) and half a thiroyd tablet with it, i also took a clonopin for sleep. woke up feeling great, but am still waiting for the icky head feeling, crossing my fingers

i think i absorb t3 and t4 better at night, i took 1/2 tablet of thiroyd greater pharma (30mg) in the morning, and it made me feel a little wierd, but got much better during the day, and i feel great now, but i was thinking of trying to take them together tonight since i have work tomorrow, does anyone advise against taking levo and NDT together at night? any advice is appreciated, thank you in advance.

funny thing actually happened today, i am a coffee addict and a zombie until i have my first cup, but today, i had no desire to make any, this is really strange to me, but im pretty happy about it since i drink so much of it, and i like it sweet, anyone else experience this when starting t3?
