Hello rollrider,
I recently started adding T3 to my T4 and after a few weeks starting flushing.
Clutter suggested I reduce dose for a few days and then resume. This worked and now I'm fine.

Hi Flower 007 thank you for advise will give it a try
Hi Rollrider
Your other posts suggest that at various times you've been on combination treatment of T4 and T3 - are you just taking 20mcg of T3 and no Levo? If so, that is unlikely to be enough. Or are you still taking Levo as well? Have you worked your way up to 20mcg of Lio? 3 months ago you seemed to be taking 10mcg of Lio.
Would you mind elaborating a little on what you're taking, and how long you've been taking it for, please? Do you have any recent thyroid blood tests to share? Are you self medicating or going it alone? Think one of your earlier posts mentioned you have atrial fibrillation?
(Lovely picture by the way! )
Hi Jazzw
I am on 25 mg T4 and 20mcg of T3 yes I do have A/F my endo is trying to get my levels right because I have been feeling tired and gaining weight , I don't know any blood test info as my endo just say's levels are ok
thank you for your reply would welcome any advise
Right, thank you.
Well, the problem is that you're almost certainly undermedicated. Your endo has got you on an almost pointless amount of Levo. He needs to decide whether to go the whole hog or not - T3 only? T4 only? A decent combination of both? But what he has you on is neither one thing nor the others. You either need more Levo or more Lio - there are several here on this forum for example who are doing well on 100mcg of Levo and 20mcg of liothyronine. A conservative replacement dose of liothyronine only is 60mcg.
Is your endo planning to raise your doses?
