My hair falls out in wee bits I'm a hairdresser so it could be medication or just feeling crap in general x

You are on 125 levo, yes? What are your latest blood test results with ranges? What kind of body odour?

Doesn't sound too bad. My son's clothes smell strongly of vomit. I've worked out it is probably butyric acid, linked to the amount of milk he drinks.

I don't think you should worry at all, but it may be a useful clue to something.

Do you have your results, and do you know what your level of B12 is?

Whoah! When was that taken? Do you know if you have thyroid antibodies?

OK, whenever you have a blood test at the GP - if you are in Britain -- you can ask for a printout of the results. It is worth doing that, so you can keep them in a file and study them and track your progress. GPs don't have the time to do that, and they often dismiss results as "normal" which are really very low or high in the ranges.

If you have never asked for a printout, you can go to surgery and ask the receptionist v politely for a printout of your last test results. It is your legal right to have them. Some practices may charge a small amount for the bother. Mine doesn't.

Again, I don't think you should be worrying. But the fact that you are worrying signals anxiety, which is a symptom in itself.

I have an appt next week what should I be asking the doctor

Are those blood results you just posted recent? Or were they the results when you first started on levo, and there is another set you have just had taken and you don't know what they are yet.? Clutter is the expert, along with many others here.

But anyway, I would want to know if I had antibodies to my thyroid - have these been tested previously? Can I have a print out? Have my B12, Vitamin D and serum ferritin levels been tested recently? If so, could I have a print out, if not, please could they be tested? Given my high TSH, should I be referred to an endocrinologist? And I would mention the onion smell - does it ring any bells for the GP?

And I would write out a list of your symptoms and take it with me, because it is easy to forget once you're there.

OK, just found this. You are not alone, and it does look as though it is likely to be thyroid related.
