Hi - I would be really interested in anyone's experience of seeing Dr Jean Haining, especially being treated for Wilson's temperature syndrome. Thank you very much for any feedback - please PM me of course.
Thanks and best wishes, Carolyn

No I hadn't even heard of her but she sounds really good.
Were you aware she is over subscribed and has a waiting list now?

Carolyn, I hadn't heard of her, but would love to know how you get on. As I have an underactive thyroid, I suppose I wonder whether she supports T3+T4 combine therapy or T3, or neither!
Disappointing to learn that she has a waiting list though as she is local to me.
I've just looked at Dr Haining's website and note that she is in Brighton (not exactly accessible!) but also note that she does not provided any pricing structure - or have I missed the relevant page?
I'm not surprised that she has a waiting list, given her credentials.
Is it ok to PM you to ask about the response to your question (i.e. overall response, not individual)?
Many thanks,
Ann
What is Wilson's temperature syndrome? I have Hashimoto's under active thyroid and always feel hot! I thought if you were underactive thyroid you should feel cold? Never been given an explanation for feeling hot all the time! Always in a tshirt for the past 7 winters!! Wishing you all the best!! Xxx xxx xxx
Dear all - thank you so much for your responses and apologies for the delay in mine. I really appreciate your thoughts.
I will feed back if I can get to see Dr Haining.
Re Wilson's temperature syndrome, it is essentially hypothyroid symptoms, including particularly low body temperature, but blood results may show in the normal range.
Best wishes, Carolyn
