Very interesting. I’ve said from day 1 that those who experience ‘long Covid’ need their thyroid and B12 levels checked and monitored. Hubby rolls his eyes and says ‘you think everything is thyroid’ 😂
Yes, I have been somewhat bothered by the ability of the Pfizer vaccine to cause side-effects. I think I have one myself, having been boosted with the third dose + adjuvant. Very slowly some time after the first two jabs I started getting very rough flaking skin patches on one foot. This spread very slowly until the booster. It's now spreading rapidly and had entered the other foot and both big toes. The strange thing is it looks very ugly, but neither hurts nor itches - one wouldn't know it was there unless one looked. I myself wonder about this possibility because I have never had this before.
I find it hard to break down these scientific papers with a mush brain.
Are they saying that there are adjuvants peculiar to the Sars Covid vacvine that are a possible problem, or are these adjuvants present in most vaccines? Or has it got nothing to do with them?
I had 31/2 years of monthly and bi monthly allergy immunotherapy shots which contain adjuvants. While something may emerge in the future, I don't feel it made any difference to my thyroid inflammation or symptoms. It was rubbish then, and remains consistently rubbish. Felt awful at the time of each shot yes. But it passed.
That said I don't have yearly Flu jabs, as I did feel on one occasion when I gave in to having one, that my symptoms of nerve pain and brain fog jumped up considerably, so I'm totally contrary.
I guess the problem is we all have underlining susceptibilities to certain things that may not emerge until provoked, in this case the Covid vaccine can be such catalyst.
My own consultant immunologist said we know very little still about autoimmunity but the immune system is individualised to an extent. He completely discounted Fibromyalgia as a disease saying it is an autoimmune response, nothing more.
Many vaccines contain adjuvants - but which substances are used varies across vaccines. Although I understand some substances have been used in multiple vaccines over the years, it is perfectly possible for each and every vaccine to use different adjuvants.
From a UK perspective, note that 5 out of the 11 case reports refer to CoronaVac which is the branding of the Chinese Sinovac vaccine. Not authorised for use in the UK.
It might also be of interest to consider how many of the population who received vaccines we would expect to suffer from one of the reported thyroid issues across the period of time covered.
There are many questions about confounders which do not seem will ever be answered as from what I can gather there is not the detailed record-keeping needed. John Dee is trying to analyse hospital records on his Almanac but is finding the data a tad murky.
Hi Penny, unfortunately it is true, I have been caring for my 64 year old momma who was a IT tech for a local refinery, when 3 weeks post Moderna vaccine in August she was taken off her feet completely with severe swelling and pain from the knees down, we have been in the emergency room 3 times and have seen 2 general practitioners, nephrologist, neurologist, endocrinologist, gastrointestinal specialist, and will see a rheumatologist on dec 10th. She has yet to receive a diagnosis from any of them, the only constant is the vaccine, her current GP has recommended a pine needle serum made from star anise white pine, that detox’s the body from the spike protein, she has had a ton of bloodwork and very high positive results for all the inflammatory markers, CRP protein, anti nuclear antibodies (Ana), both thyroid antibodies, even d-dimer was extremely high, they have scanned her body 3 times for blood clots, and all the can agree on is that she now has an autoimmune disease.

I’m sorry to hear that and wish you and your mother good luck. I have read that white pine needle tea can help with the S spike protein but have not read that it is proven to work. Considering that the vaccines code the body to make S spike protein I’m not sure how efficacious the tea would be. As yet I’ve not found anything scientific as to how long the body produces the spike protein after vaccination or how long it stays in the body after infection.
