Hi
I am in Nice at the moment and I am wondering if anyone knows what Lactulose is called here. ( oh the joy of Hypo eh! ). I was also wondering if I can buy T3 over the counter here.
Thanks if anyone can help

CarolineAnne, Using Google translate it is the same in French. I think T3 is prescription only in France.
Lactulose is lactulose in French and is made by several companies. T3 is called Cynomel, is prescription only, and costs 2.75 € for a box of 30 25mcg pills!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Oh thank you for that. I will get some in the morning. It's a shame about the t3 though.
Thank you all for your replies. I love this forum.

CarolineAnne,
Just wondering if you have tried Vit C chewable tabs instead of Lactulose. I began with it when I was prescribed Ferrous Fumarate to prevent constipation. I already had this anyway but have found it keeps me very regular still now I am not taking the iron any more. I take 1000 mg per day. Just a thought.

Thanks Barb
I have taken vit c but always forget to take it regularly. It wasn't the chewable one though. I may try that!
Incidently, I got some Lactulose whilst in France. It tasted much nicer than the one I get in UK. It had an almond taste!
