T3 and heartburn?

I've recently started taking T3 along side my Levothyroxine. Started on 6.25 3 weeks ago, upped the dosage 1 week ago to 12.5. For the last 4 or 5 days I've had awful heartburn. Can't even drink a cup of tea without some pain. Anyway I'm wondering if this is a coincidence or if there's a link? Any thoughts? Thanks

Sueoathall, skip your next dose of T3 and go back to 6.25mcg for a couple of weeks to see if the heartburn eases.

Sue, it may be nothing to do with T3 but stopping or reducing T3 is one way to tell.

Hi clutter I did as you suggested. The heartburn has gone. Am trying the higher T3 dose again as from today. Will let you know what happens! Thanks X

Been on higher dose of T3 again for a week now, no problem at all this time! Strange but I'm delighted!

Gradually feeling better, brain fog has lifted a bit and I have a bit more energy.

Sue, that's good, it's early days yet so stick with that dose for 6 weeks and have a blood test before increasing further.
