Hair?!?

Hi just wondering if anyone else had this? Although I'm losing hair on my head, I'm starting to notice hair getting thicker, darker and longer on my chin, fingers and thumbs and patches in my arms?!?

I'm not really loving it, this is a new symptom I can see coming on 😞

There is also a post from Greygoose with a link about Castor Oil for hair growth..

Hey adflores, yes it was me ☺️

I shall have a look at that post (when my brain in gear)

I've had a quick look at the headings and I'm in the middle of trying to go through some of these already, I've had B12 injections, folic acid tablets, being tested for adrenals etc so on my way. The being properly medicated is not applicable as I'm not being medicated (and I don't think I will be).

My concern as well as the hair loss, is the hair growth!!! How can I be losing hair on my head yet growing hair where I shouldn't be?!?

Once I've had my short synacthen and gluten tests I shall be pleased to start implementing some changes. I just wondered whether others had experienced hair loss and growth at the same time?

I have noticed the hair growth where it shouldn't be like my chin, and my toes, and where I already had the hair(my fingers) it seems to either have more or thicker..I just brushed it to the side since I have other symptoms bothering me a little more.

As for the hair loss, I have not noticed since I do have a lot of hair, I really can't tell if it is falling too much or not...

As greygoose mentioned, I have read in other places that the extra hair growth could be related to the testesterone levels being too high..so I would consider having it tested..

Also, if your hair-loss is due to the Levo you're taking, try Evening Primrose Oil and Borage Oil.

If it's due to hypo, the only thing is to get your dose optimised.

But that only addresses LOSS of hair, not hair growing in the wrong place. It could be that your testosterone is too high. Ask your doctor if he can check it.

does sound like testosterone too high or dht causes it which is hormonal...and if that is true, evening primrose oil twice a day is advised on many sites

Thanks jacrjacr for the reply. I must try the Eveing primrose. I've just been feeling too unwell recently to implement anything. I shall have to look into this ☺️

Scalp Esthetica Bad SMP Toronto. Horrible Experience What do I do?

Im not really totally bald just thinning and Tino barbone, aka T-bone from Scalp Esthetica in Toronto told me that he would be able to add extra density to my hair. After the scalp micropigmentation treatment my head was red for the first day so i couldnt see the results until the reddness went away. when it was gone my head had massive blue dots all over it. Missing spots ever where. It looks like dark blue you can see the pictures for yourself. I played a lot of money and was really looking forward to it. The pics looks really nice on the Internet. Over all very insatisfieded . It looks like s***. I am very up set scalp esthetica and tino barbone ruined my life. Any advice on what to do. how much will it cost fix or do i need to do laser removal and will it hurt? any help is appreciated i am depressed and afraid to show my face in public until its fixed.

H Garywilkinson,

Sorry you've had this experience, it doesn't sound like you've had a great time of it.

I wish I had some answers for you but I've not even heard of this treatment before, maybe someone else can help you, perhaps put it as a new post?

Sorry I'm not really sure what direction to point you in but good luck
