hello

is it safe for me to take naproxen if i have lupus sle, my doctor is treating bursitus in my shoulder, but the leaflet says caution/warning if you have lupus, can't see this warning on the web.

I took naproxen for years with thyroxine make sure they give you omeprazol as well to protect your stomach Ive had to cone off it as I have so stomach issues.

If you're taking omeprazole, which lowers stomach acid, you will probably be low in most nutrients, too. Best to get them all tested and supplement where necessary.

I have lupus and take naproxen with no issues. I only take naproxen as needed for menstrual pain so it isn't a daily thing. My Gyn never cautioned me on naproxen with regards to my lupus. The only concern ever is stomach upset and omezprole (aka Prilosec OTC) can help with that.
