After my hospital blood test results showing TSH 7 and T4 in lower third of range my GP blood test is back. Receptionist couldn't tell me what it is but suspect out of range as not told 'normal' but 'Dr would like to see you tomorrow.'
Can't say what TSH & T4 will be but probably higher than they should be. No T3. Bless my remaining half a thyroid. So question - am sure I've likely read it but what would a decent dose of Levo be as a starting dose? 50mcg.? I feel another GP battle coming on.
Going to see how I get on But always have my magic thyroid s if need be.

Nickinoo, it's anyone's guess what dose your GP will see fit to prescribe but 50-100mcg is suggested by NICE for someone under 50 years of age without heart disease.
