Maybe it depends on the surgery but I can ring up and request them and she will ask the GP and then I can usually pick up a print out later that day. She has never just verballed them over the phone to me.

Hey, no problem!

So glad you managed to get your appointment rescheduled for tomorrow rather than having to stew until next week which is awful.

Yes I read that very long other thread.......I think we can surmise that "brain fog" and anxiety are rearing their heads due to lack of hormone meds.

Wishing you the best for tomorrow to get this sorted out for you. :)

Beani, well done making an appointment to see your GP and sort out your thyroxine. I hope it won't take too long to sort the dose out and relieve your symptoms.

Well my son picked up my results and would you believe, nothing. Just Thyroid Test Result outside normal range but is what we expect for this patient.

What does that mean?

Vit D Studies abnormal

He gave me a prescription for 800iu vit D the other day.

I feel as if I'm going downhill rapidly. I know I have Parkinsons but I have become more housebound and continually in pain.

I have Carpel Tunnel that was ignored and my hand is painful and useless and now my other thumb joint is becoming painful and locks occasionally. I am not giving up yet but I'm getting there.

Help!

That is unacceptable, Cicely. That is not your results, that is your doctor's opinion, and not what you asked for! I would ask again, if I were you, stipulating that you want the results in figures, with the ranges.

Carpel Tunnel is a symptom of low thyroid, so that probaly means that you are being Under-treated. Perhaps he doesn't want you to know that.

Have you had your B12 tested? Because that could be causing some problems, too. You also need folate and ferritin, iron.

If you are vit D defficinet, 800 is not going to do anything to help you! They are so stupid! I just want to smack them. lol You need a much higher dose, like 7000. But I'm not the expert on vit D, you should ask Clutter about that.

Hugs, Grey

Thank you Grey Goose. Have had to call doc out this morning pounding head. And upset tum. All behind my eyes, ears and sinus ache.

I have used paracetamol, and steamed all morning, done a sinus wash ,As always tempreture ok, blood pressure ok. This has been on going off and on for weeks.

He's told me to take antibiotics in 48 hours when stomachs calmed down. I know it's my thyroid, even my parkinsons tremors are worse or is it thyroid.tremors too.

How can I get my blood done privately

Cicely x
