Has anyone found coconut oil helpful or harmful for Hashimoto's?

I am beginning to wonder if coconut products are all they are cracked up to be.

Would welcome any experiences on this please

Good for hair if taken internally. Can't say I have noticed any other improvement.

I sometimes eat it in my morning porridge or fry with it. I find it gives me an energy boost. But eating too much of it can give me diarrhoea.

This is an interview and it has to be Virgin Coconut Oil, not just coconut oil.
