Can GP authorise dextrose and 24 hour urine test?

Hi They can or they can also authorise these tests to be done at a private hospital. Not very expensive.

She probably did not realise she could as unusual. I would ask the nearest Lab to you for a price and a form, so that it is right and then ask GP to sign it.

Hi Look up private hospitals, mostly Spire, Nuffield and Priory. phone and ask. Spire probably best, I have used them from GP.

Yes easier on the hospital`s form. I get the hospital to fill it in ,then it is right! Then get it signed by GP.

Hi If at a private hospital, yes but I know urine collection is cheapish.

It is possible that local regulations and management stop her from doing so. It is unfair on her to assume she lied, and to call her a liar, without clear evidence. (Certainly you can have whatever private thoughts you have. I have no idea of the truth here.)
