Advice please

I took my Eltroxin this morning at 5 am as normal but when I woke at 6.30 I took another one so I've taken 200 eltroxin this morning instead of my 100. Will this cause me to feel hyper. Will I miss my dose tomorrow or just carry on as normal. I feel so silly taking two. Thanks

If you don't feel overstimulated later on today I would just carry on as normal tomorrow. Take pulse and temp a few times if you feel hot etc and if you begin to feel overstimulated later on, miss tomorrow's dose.

I am sure many have done that occasionally.

Thanks I do feel a bit jittery now and haven't felt that in a good few weeks I was half asleep and just took it without thinking I think I'll miss tomorrow's dose shaws

Mauds, you probably won't notice any difference for a few days. If you do feel slightly hyper in the next week skip a dose.

I used to comfort myself that I only made mistakes that my body needed! A sort of Freudian slip! Don't worry, there have been suggestions that thyroxine could be taken in one weekly dose, mind you, I'd be too scared to do that. Hope you feel ok whatever you decide
