everyday my moon is getting bigger does anyone have any ideas to get some relieve it is so swollen over my cheeks and nose and realy has started to hurt,i keep massaging and putting on cream but getting no relieve xx

I believe English isn't your first language but that's not important. If you are able to put some of your thyroid history in your Profile it helps us to know and not ask unnecessary questions each time you ask a question.

Have you been diagnosed? Do you have Hashimotos or Hypothyroidism.

Are you on thyroid hormone medication, i.e. levothyroxine? What dose?

If you've had a recent blood test for your thyroid gland, get a print-out from your doctor with the ranges (figures in brackets) and post them so that we can comment on them. If you are on levothyroxine, you may not be on sufficient which causes swelling (undiagnosed also has the same symptoms).

Are you on steroids, barbiejack? I know that can cause "moonface". If so, I wonder if you are on the correct dosage for whatever you are being treated for? Could you speak to your doctor or pharmacist about this? Sorry I can't be any more help but, as shaws says, it would be helpful if you could let us know what you're being treated for and what you are taking, as well as showing us your blood test results.

Doesn't the expression 'moonface' get used in relation to Cushins & Graves disease. Off course it's not something anyone could indicate from messages but just a thought, depending on other symptoms.
