The moon is feminine energy - so try and find the sun - which is masculine energy so you can reach a balance
You could try Hatha yoga - which is about balancing the Sun and the Moon energies.... the translation of Hatha is Sun/Moon......
Unrelated but....years ago i use to work with special needs folk, and full moon is when there was sezuires more, violence, ...you name it, it happened then...
I was told by my endo that the body holds on to excess fluid during th full moon from the earths forces and this changes the balance of everything, including Endocrine stuff and of course our ladies monthly cycles are influenced by the Lunar cycle
I assume the pressure/holding on to fluid and the increase in magnetic force is bound to make every illness worse - just look at how animals go crazy and weather
I was just hoping for some more input re thyroid/adrenal/Pain etc issues getting worse during The full moon as all mine go off the scale
Also I found on every Fibromyalgia board that around the full moon pain goes crazy and interestingly this article 'The Lunar effect' express.co.uk/life-style/he... and it mentions about thyroid
THYROID PROBLEMS
University of Vienna researchers found requests for appointments at thyroid clinics surge after a full moon. They analysed more than 11,000 requests for appointments in 2003 and found the number of patients wanting to see a doctor for a check-up peaked three days after the lunar phase.
I shall watch out for this! It makes sense. My symptoms are bad at the moment!
All my symptoms seem worse during a full moon. I also admin for a heart palpitations site and always see surges in people having worse issues at full moons. 'Super' moons are the worst !
Just from experience - the full moon means frequent wake ups for me, it's been like that for years. The last few days I have also been feeling really tired, my adrenals got stressed and I feel pains and aches and am generally weak. The has been quite a lot of research apparently supporting the fact that individual pain is at its worst during the full moon but cannot remember where I read it. Anyway, definitely an influence.
This is really interesting, but I cannot imagine telling this to my GP - she already thinks I'm cuckoo, and she would probably kick me out if I even suggested anything connected to the moon.
