Tatoo laser treatment and uat

Has anyone had a tattoo removed by laser treatment as the tattooist told me there could be serious problems if I get it done x

Why did he say laser removal to the skin be a problem for people with hypothyroidism?

Don't know just said there could be complications and needed a letter from gp .

Oh so he's just being cautious I'm guessing, i have hashimotos and had laser hair removal which is essentially the same thing ,with no problems but best to check with your gp.

Hi,

I started laser removal some years ago long before I was diagnosed with thyroid. It is seriously painful, expensive & it takes several sessions to fully remove them so if you can cover it up I would !! Thyroid or not I wouldn't go back for more,
