Does everyone find that when they change from levothyroxine that they end up with the exact equivalent in NDT .interested as finding it hard getting right ,feel well enough on dose I am on but started again with like heart flutters which is scary again .energy is fine and I feel well except for this .

Nobody can agree what an exact equivalent is in the first place! So absolutely, definitely, NO!
Some seem to end up taking far more, some noticeably less, than the "equivalent" as suggested by, for example, RLC (makers of WP Thyroid and Nature-Throid). And quite a number change over the years from their initial dose. Again, either way is possible.

Hi It is probably the T3 content. Ask for a blood test for TSH, T4 and FT3, on ,line if GPO will not. Then start the NT on a much lower dose and gradually build up with checks for bloods, six weekly best.

I also switched from levo to NDT. Feeling much better on what is closest to equivalent dose according to my functional medicine doc. However also feeling heart beating. Endo wants me to reduce dose very slowly to see if less will be OK because TSH is now .27 (.97-4.5) She said heart fluttering will not be a factor for a few months but over years may cause atrial fibrilation.
