Dr peatfield: Does anyone know if he still... - Thyroid UK
Dr peatfield
I've not heard he has retired I did see hi last February but that's nearly a year ago
Thanks for the reply, was it helpful and what was his fees if you dont mind me asking
Just so you're aware, he can't prescribe - he's no longer registered - thought I'd mention it, as you're asking on another thread about getting T3.
Looked on his website he charges 175 for consultation so what does he do for that ? Thanks
I personally found him so helpful. You have to complete a diary for 6 weeks and then send it to him. He then wrote to me with further advice. This went on for a year at least. So he teaches you the most valuable gift - to monitor your own health and how to listen to your body. he gave me confidence very step of the way. He was very ill - but not sure of his present situation. Can't remember the fee... - but it does include ongoing support....
I endorse everything that Marz has written. Dr. P. has been a huge support and continues to respond to letters and questions outside of formal consultations for no charge. I received a letter from him several weeks ago so I assume that he is still working.
Amazing man! I saw him years ago. As KennyGee said, Dr P. keeps advising after the face-to-face.
I saw him last October. No mention of retirement then
I saw Dr P three weeks ago at his clinic in Malvern, and just started a regime he suggested. Lovely man.Get in touch with him as soon as you can. Good luck! Look on his website.
