Worth you Googling to read up.

My friend is being tested via an Endocrinologist. Visually sufferers tend to have rounded belly/lower torso and faces. She also suffers fatigue & high cholesterol.

Have found a lot online thanks hun just wondered if anyone out there to discuss it with. I have a lot of symptoms esp my skin which up till now thought was psoriasis altho nothing was healing it. Now thinking its actually vasculitis! See endo privately tomorrow xx

It's really frustrating trying to get to the bottom of things.

I have skin symptoms, to date not found out a defined reason.

Can I ask your skin problems... maybe alike.

I posted a pic of my skin a few days ago, title 'Rushing', if you can find it.

I've had pit tumour removed - ACTH high, but not Cushings! Drs say I have all the symptoms of Cushings, but not clinically! I'm on a few Cushings groups on facebook - pm me if you want further info xx

My mum was treated with high steroid for rheumatoid arthritis which gives similar symptoms from the excess cortisol. She had weight round her middle and hamster cheeks. She developed a little hump of fat at the top of her back/ neck. Her skin thinned in general causing little bruises and thread vein looking pattern. These problems resolved when the dose was significantly reduced. The definitive test is 24 hour urine I think. Conversely, since I have had my thyroid removed, I have been prone to eczma (not spelt write) in strange places. I too produce excess cortisol when I am standing due to POTS post surgery. The eczma is popping up all over and I am having to use hydrocortisone cream. Hope this helps in some way. Sandy

Thanks for your replies guys. Was at a private endo today. Got on ok no answers yet but its not psoriasis i have! Says its not cushings as its a def rounded face n hump which i dont have but he will test for it and exclude it. To go to his nhs clinic for bloods on wed so i dont get charged an arm and a leg. He will get me seen quicker at dermatology for swabs and see me back at carrick glen in 4 wks. Says he will get me sorted! Has written down vasculitis but what causing that I dont know. Xx
