My daughter has just got her last blood test results TSH 7.24. 0.40-4.50, Thyroxine 15, Free T3 5.8. 2.3-4.2. My daughter is still not feeling well she is on 200mg of thyroxine and 20mg of t3. She was diagnosed a few years ago and has not been right since, she has never been stable with this. Any help would be good, thank you

Janel, this is tricky, your daughter's high TSH on high dose T4+T3 suggests thyroid hormone resistance or lack of pituitary response to hormone but her FT4 is good and her FT3 over range.
I think your daughter needs referral to an endocrinologist with pituitary/hypothalmus expertise who will investigate.
How are her vitamin and mineral levels? If she has nutritional deficiencies, these might give the same symptoms as low hormone. They might also impede the absorbtion of the hormone by the cells. Is she taking vit C?
She has not been tested for any vitamin on mineral issues.
Yes we got the genetic testing done through a private endo
Thank you for this
