I am in an initial phase, started to medicate for hypo for only 3 weeks ago, what should the body temperature be in the morning?

I havn't checked mine for years.. until this morning. It was 36.4.

If it was taken in your armpit, then this is a good reading. If it was taken orally, it could be better to be closer to 37. Mine is 36.1 am and around 36.5 pm, now that I am on combo t4/t3. Before the treatment it was about 0.5 lower. I have also noticed some seasonal changes. In summer It goes up for some 0.2-0.3, and in winter it goes down which made me think to raise my medications accordingly.

Thank you!

I wish my body temp was as high as yours. :) Mine is 34.9 degrees Celsius upon waking.

Ohhh, is it possible!

That level must quite hard to live with!

You must be frozen!!

I hope you get help.

Then mine is no problem, in comparison..

Hopefully when I'm on a more optimal dosage the temp will even itself. It's weird, I don't feel frozen. The doctor is doing more tests with me now - an ECG - for blood pressure. I have a family history of high blood pressure, high cholesterol, angina, stroke and aneurysms so maybe it's all connected somehow. The doctor wants me to pick up a form to take to the hospital for an ECG I presume. So hopefully things for me will move forward. :)

It is good that the doktor makes more tests with you!

I hope they will find a solution for you! :-)

Thanks. :) I had my ECG done today, I didn't want to read too much into it but there were lots of jagged lines and quite a few steep ones. On some my heart didn't look to be beating at all! :) The nurse said there was nothing of serious concern but my doctor will let me know.

We hope the nurse was right!

Most likely she is.

This morning mine was 35.3. I told new Endo mine is low but he said I have to find what is normal for me but they are all over the place! I also find though if I get really cold can't warm up for hours!

Oj,,, I feel pity for you also!

But there must be a way to get the temperature up!

I am in the beginning of Natural Thyroid. I have medicated for 3 weeks only, but I think

I have become a little bit warmer...

I hope you get help for it! :)

Thank you! For years I've said I must have my wires crossed but I spend a fortune heating the house and although that helps a little it still doesn't help if the core is frozen.
