Twinkle, did your GP have a feel of your throat and neck to see whether there was swelling of your thyroid gland or a goiter? Have you had thyroid peroxidase and thyroglobulin antibodies tested to rule out/confirm autoimmune thyroid disease (Hashimoto's)? What are your recent thyroid blood results? If you aren't optimally medicated your thyroid swells in response to TSH flogging it to produce more hormone. Hashimoto's attacks also cause the thyroid to swell.
Yes he felt my throat and said all was ok, if taking the Omeprazole does not work so to speak - which it isn't he will refer me to have an Ultrascan.. Thanks for your advice will check about tests for Hashimoto's but after last bloods done everything was Normal, which I constantly question.
