I love Jarrow Methyl B12, sublingual, I'm taking 5000mcg at the moment but I think they do a lesser strength too. I get mine from Amazon - If you do it through the link on the TUK website they get a little bit of profit from your transaction
I'll echo that.....I also take the Jarrow 5000s but yes they do 1000s if you want to take less. You definitely need Methylcobalamin, to dissolve in the mouth as it is better absorbed.
I usually take that too, but every now and then I have to swap to Swansons as I'm slightly sensitive to the citric acid in Jarrow Formulas. It's hard to find a sublingual high dose (5000) methyl cobalamin that doesn't contain folic acid as well.
Silver_Fairy, I use Jarrows Formula 1,000mcg sublingual lozenges via the TUK Amazon link thyroiduk.org.uk/tuk/go_sho...
Jarrows. I give these to my kids too and the cherry flavour is nice.
I take Natura Factors 5000mcg, no citric acid but does contain lactose which might be a problem for some people. I'm self injecting at the moment as my B12 was only about 270 which is low in the range.

Freda pain, did you get advice on injecting from your GP? My B12 is 248, so I'm not sure if I can get injections or not.
