Salivary Adrenal Test in Spain..impossible.

Hi everyone!

I have Hashimoto since I tried to get pregnant in 2012 so I have been using levo but six months later in a 75 mcg dose I get very very ill so I reduce my meds and I got serveral collateral damages in my body that I didnt have it before I started the levo.

For example;I have terrible diziness all the day, I did not have any brain fog, now is terrible, I can´t move properly my left hand and my left leg (that scares me a lot everyday), I have depression, I dont want to talk, and the worst symptom I have since one year ago is the voices in my head and the constantly repetion of something (if I hear a song in the radio or if I have any problem at work or at home) in my head. It seems that I am crazy..., I remember how I was before and the life I had before I started the levo and this nightmare makes me feel worse...

I will get lab test next month, at the moment I am just taking T3 from Mexico just 25mcg cut in 4 and then 1 part cut in two because I cant stand more than that in the morning...then in the afternoon the other part so 5 mcg cut in two(one part in the morning and the other part at 15.00 )

I think I have low ferritin and adrenal problems..but here in Spain I cant get a salivary test from Genova because they asked me for a number of something and I dont have any doctor at the moment.

Anybody can help me with this matter? How I can get a salivary test?

And other thing is that the Cytomel and Levo causes me eczema only in one finger....is that normal???

how I can order a salivary kit if I dont have any doctor´s registration number????

Use the Genova Diagnostics UK automated phone line to order ( [phone] ), not their website. You don't speak to a real human and have a conversation, you just answer questions when prompted to. One of the questions is "Who is your practitioner?". At this point you say "Thyroid UK", and this is sufficient. No other doctor's name or any other numbers are required for this.

When you order by phone you are not asked to give any payment details at that time. You have to send payment details when you return your samples.

Since you live in Spain I would email them first before ordering ( [e-mail] ) to be sure that they will send test kits to Spain.

I will e-mail them and I will ask about this.

In reference the diziness and the voices I know is very difficult to say something with any lab tests, I will post them as soon as I will have it, but I guess is because I am under medicated.. I am really scared to speak with anybody about this because they will think I am crazy..

And here in Spain any doctor treat with T3 or they dont know nothing about Tsh or NTD.

When I asked my GP about T3 she told me that it was the first time she heard about that.....so imagine my situation..

I have been with her at first, six months then when I get so ill my TSH was in <0.00 I was totally hypertiroid and she still saying that the lab test were fine my pulse and presure were so high when I went to the hospital but there they didnt do annything about thyroid they said I had a diziness attack. So I cut meds myself and then I get all this symptoms that I have never had before.....

Then I starterd again with levo but it was 10 times worse than the first time and I can have more than 25 mcg...

Sorry to write too much but I am really desesperate at this point.. I am 25 years old, my mother died and I am alone, just me and my boyfriend..

I dont have anybody to speak about this.

stopthethyroidmadness.com/r... at the bottom of the page is where to order lab tests, including saliva. They list different countries. I'm in the US and just sent in a saliva test.

I've had trouble being on Armour and can only tolerate a small dose. Every time I try and raise it, I have crazy symptoms, like headaches, high blood pressure, anxiety, weakness.... All of that despite my labwork showing below normal free T3 and low free T4.

At "Stop the Thyroid Madness" they say there has to be an underlying cause, probably Adrenal fatigue or low ferritin ( your iron stores). Your body is unable to use the thyroid medication and it "pools" in the blood, instead of going into the cells...so you have bad reactions.

If you can't get a saliva test done, there are other things to check, such as the pupil dilation test. You can do at home. If you learn enough about it, you can probably make a good guess that you have adrenal fatigue. Just start doing what you can to help your adrenal glands to recover and build up your iron. You can find all of this at the "Stop the Thyroid Madness" site.

I've tried to figure things out for the longest time and no other place explained it until I went there.
