DidnT work for me, nor did erfa... Both are manufactured to have a longer shelf life so need a bit more breaking down when you take them......

I do brilliantly on other brands of NDT though.

I have only tried thyroid -s and Efra. My choice between the pair is definitely thyroid-s. I developed a bad itch between my fingers within an hour of taking Efra, it didn't stop until I stopped taking it. Thyroid-s gives me better results, I'm still not well but I'm better on it than Efra, I know this as I took it first, then tried Efra and then back to thyroid-s.

I will send a pm about where I got my last bottle from.

Yes its great, been on it since end 2012, only wish i'd done it soonr. Levo destroyed my health

How did Levo destroy health? I've been on it years and worried some of my health problems are side affects not stand alone problems!

in reply toPurpleIdeas

That is almost certainly true, PI. Medicine in this country treats every ailment/symptom in isolation. Lack of a properly functioning thyroid can throw up malfunctions in all kinds of other bodily systems. For instance, I have trouble with my feet. Says I to the podiatrist "I am hypothyroid. I've heard that hypothyroidism can produce odd pains and problems with extremities." "Yes," says he. "But that's not the case with you." This insight obviously vouchsafed from the ether."How do you know that?" says I. He changed the subject. I don't think I have ever had a meaningful conversation with a medical practitioner about how my thyroidism is affecting my health in secondary ways.

I currently feel better than I have for 5 or 6 years - on Thyroid S. I've been on it nearly 2 years now. It's been a long process, so don't expect a quick fix. Make sure your adrenal glands are in tip-top condition before you start, ditto other vit and mineral levels, particularly vits B12 and D3.

Chew them and take half the dose a.m. and half around teatime.

There are only 2 suppliers that I know of, and I suspect you've been pm'd those :-)

Keep in touch with the forum when you start taking it. There's a lot of experience of it here - Thyroid S is not necessarily completely plain sailing.

I've tried several different NDT the one that worked the best before it was reformulated was the Armour but don't take it anymore since that whole ordeal I've tried 3 others and Finally had success with Nature Throid its Hypoallergenic and it has made me feel soo much better Efra isn't available in the US so have Never tried that. But RLC LABS make Nature Throid if you would like to read up on it also they make WestThroid which is identical to the Nature Throid

I think that have stopped the old Westhroid, which was identical to Nature-Throid, and now produce WP Thyroid (which, for a while, they called Westhroid P).

WP Thyroid is a different formulation to Nature-Throid.

I do fine with Naturethroid and Thiroyd.

Hi im looking for a supplier of naturethroid and the link to thiroyd - the picture (with the added bonus!) - am on thiroyd and doing ok but would like to try nature as thiroyd gives me the feeling of nausea. I will give it a month or two and see how it goes.

I hope that makes sense!

Cheers
