I had my thyroidectomy just over a year ago buy in the last month I've felt various pulling pains in my neck varying in places in my neck and size of pain, I'm thinking of asking to have a scan but don't know if this is actually just common? Really need some advice
Thank you

It's likely that the pain is unrelated to your thyroidectomy as the major healing will be done now (it takes up to 18 months) but you should ask for an examination to put your mind at rest, It's more likely that you have pulled a muscle in your neck but a month is long enough for this to clear and you may need medication or physiotherapy to sort it out.
i thought that would be the case, it was just weird because the pain changes its position and is the sort of pain I got not long after surgery. thank you for the advice
