Hi can anyone tell me if you can get blood tests for under active thyroid privately on the NHS ?

I don't think so. I believe you would have to have a consultation privately, then the person would use a particular lab. You can have blood tests done for your own use and this is a link. You can phone and ask what they provide - some you can do by post:-

It may be possible to use NHS phlebotomy services for the blood draw for a fee if you don't want to do finger prick tests.

Hi Gemini, You should be able to, but if not, you can get them done privately elsewhere. Check out the website for Dr Myhill who is a private doctor. She offers a lot of different tests.
