Hi My Vit C is running out and I really don't want to buy another bottle of massive pills.

Does anyone know of a form of Vit C that is easier to take but still good quality? I'm not really keen on spoonfuls of awful tasting liquid either although a few drops in water might work.

I'm afraid I take the massive pills. I use Redoxon slow release which are huge but I notice they also do vitamin C tablets that fizz in water and make an orange drink. I don't know how good they are though. Something makes me think you can get vitamin C powder but I don't know what you do with it. You could always disguise drops in orange juice or something with a stronger taste. That might work.

Apart from the price I'm happy with what I'm taking but I'm sure someone will come along with more suggestions for you.

Thorne Research - 500 mg Vitamin C With 75 mg Flavonoids.

Jarrow Formulas - 500 mg Vitamin C With 75 mg Flavonoids.

That is certainly something you don't want to take!

Vit C powder, I add diluted orange juice.

I've been using this, dissolved in plain water :

When I bought it I didn't give any thought to what effect an acid would have on my teeth. But ever since I started using it I've worried that it could be wearing away my tooth enamel. I have no idea if this is a reasonable fear or not. I've been drinking the stuff with a straw in the hopes of minimizing contact with my teeth.

Bio Care...I buy the powder. It's pure with no fillers. Just dissolve in a small amount of water. I got it through Amazon.

Snap! That's what I use.

I use boots 1000mg vitamin C tablets that dissolve in water (boots.com/en/Boots-VITAMIN-...

But I don't use them everyday because its 1250% rda

Boots have another one thats 500mg sustained release which is quite good value

I am using Solgar Ester-C plus - 500 mg of Vitamin C

It is highly absorbable and non acidic, ( good for the stomach ) a bioflavonoid complex.

I don't normally buy Solgar, but they do produce the odd jar of vitamins, that aren't full of fillers, and this is one of them.

Thanks everyone. I think I'll probably go with the Solgar for now as they are non acidic and aren't full of fillers. If they don't fit the bill, I'll come back and have another look at all your good advice. x
