Angela, did you take your thyroid meds before your blood test?

No I took them the day before not that morning

Angela, Your TSH is very responsive to 100mcg but unless you felt overmedicated I think your GP has been a bit hasty in reducing your meds to 75mcg. If your symptoms resume on the new dose make sure to go back and ask for another thyroid test.

Angela, Your GP can do a blood test 2/3 weeks after the dose reduction but may want to wait a little longer. I'd give it another few days and see the GP again and ask for your dose to be increased even if its 75mcg/100mcg alternate days. You should also ask for ferritin, vitamin D, B12 and folate to be tested as they're often low or deficient in hypothyroid patients and present with fatigue and other symptoms similar to hypothyroid symptoms.

Thank so much I do have a batch of prescriptions at the chemist so won't need to go to the doc but will ask for the other tests next time
