Hypothyroid with Tpo antibodies with a long standing sleep disorder . Could all this be related? Can anyone recommend a private Endo in east midlands?
I am 23 and have always felt like I couldn't keep up and lack energy . Recently I have had an increase īn anxiety , exhaustion, postural hypotension, dizziness , blurred vision and insomnia . I was diagnoses with delayed phase sleep disorder at 14 but I feel recently this has been exacerbated.
I just wondered if others had experienced problems. sleeping and have hypothyroidism ? I am not hyper from my most recent blood results TSH -8.5 , T4-12 (have manged to negotiate another T3 , T4, TSH test in a month and last t3 was fine ) .
I want to take NDT but am wondering whether to get my correct dose by bloods on levo first or switch now? I am sure Levo has made me feel worse .
I am studying a medical physician associate degree but have had to take 3months off with exhaustion. As I do not sleep till 3-4am and up at 6am with being exhausted from the hypothyroidism I just couldn't carry on .
If people have experienced sleep problems has anyone tried melatonin ?
Reading all of your posts on hear and from my awful experiences with gps I can't believe how little gps seem to know and how dismissive they are ! It definitely motivates me to not treat my future patients this way!
Sorry for the rant and so many questions , any advice is appreciated .
