I feel like something is pushing on the right side of my throat?

I have this pressure on my right side of my throat like something is pushing on it. It makes me gage when I try and feel around for a lump or anything. My tonsils are normal and dont hurt.

On your profile you don't give any medical history. Have you seen your GP and has he palpated your neck? Has he ran a thyroid gland blood test? If so, can you get a print-out of your results with the ranges and post for members to comment.

More information would be helpful. Are you feeling unwell?

I have this lump in the side of my throat and it hurts to swallow, but when I pop it back into place in my throat my throat feels fine!

From your response I guess you have not had a blood test for your thyroid hormones or been diagnosed.

Due to you having a lump I would ask your GP to palpate (feel) your throat area and run a Full Thyroid Function Test.

Make the test as early as possible and fast, you can drink water). If you do take thyroid hormones leave 24 hours between the last dose and the test.
