I'm going to start taking my levo at night and my t3 and HRT in the morning , I think this will work better for me - any advice ?

Also I like to take a cup of tea to Bed, is it ok to take the levo after drinking it ?

I take my Levo just before bed, as I have alpro milk and apparently soya effects Levo. I think normal milk is ok but I don't drink tea after half nine because of this.

Yes it's better to wait for at least an hour after your last drink if you take milk with your tea, or take the Levo earlier (a couple of hours) and then have your last cuppa. So long as it's not too soon after your last meal!

What a palaver! I can see why people stick to first thing in the morning - though I always took my Levo last thing at night, with water, because I always have my last food no later than 6.30 and my last coffee at much the same time.

I've gone back to dosing in the morning as I'm able to wait an hour after dosing for tea and don't eat early in the morning but I missed my late nigh snacks.

According to the graph of circadian TSH, T4, and T3 levels (the study is posted on this site), TSH and T3 levels rise at 10 p.m. and start to go down at 10 a.m. T4 appears to be mostly level throughout the day.

Are you taking 1 T3 tablet per day or 2 doses?

After I saw that study, I changed my dosing to taking T3 at 9:30 p.m. and 6 a.m. and the Levo at 6 a.m.

My understanding, and I could be wrong here, is that Cytomel is a salt and some food in the stomach will not interfere with absorption. It's the Levo that's problematic. (There's that study done in Italy showing that drinking coffee with Levo decreases absorption by at least 30%.)

I use an HRT cream and for some reason, now that I'm on the Cytomel, it seems I no longer get hot flashes. (Waiting for summer...... that might shoot this all to heck.) I've titrated my dose of HRT down to 1/3 dose. Some days I forget to use it with no adverse effect. I could never do this when I was on Levo only.

Oh my don't know what to do now !!

I take 75mg levo which I thought was better at night as I don't eat after 6.00 but I do have a cup of tea at bedtime, can easily stop that though and 20mg cytomel and 1mg eostrogen in morning.

My levo dose has only just changed and cytomel introduced (2 days) and I am waiting to see some positives - feeling strange

A couple of weeks ago I changed to half my levo at night and half in the morning - and I think I have more energy. Also all my family have noticed I am no longer unreasonably grumpy first thing in the morning!! I just wake up and feel normal and get up straight away - 6 months ago I would be awake for an hour before being able to get out of bed.

I take the view that splitting the dose must lessen the issue of food interfering with absorption . Good luck whatever you do x
