Have recently been having a look at the information on the Scottish petition with great interest.
Have seen on the Scottish parliament website there it is still very active with recent documents dated March 2014. I wondered if someone could give me a very brief overview of what the next stage is as I can't quite work that out.
Thanks in advance

Hi Smiga13, I am the only remaining petitioner as Sandra and Marian have now resigned. The last meeting was just four weeks ago and the committee have decided to ask the Scottish Government exactly what is included in this 'listening exercise' they plan. They are concerned this will be listening to ALL chronic patients and not just thyroid patients. They are also asking the Cabinet Secretary for Health about the parlous T3 situation. They will then meet to consider whether to conduct their own investigations in to issues the petition highlights. There is still a lot of work going on to further this and all patients are welcome to write to the committee with their story or to support this. Emails to Andrew.Howlett@scottish.parliament.uk
