Am buying it in an effort to feel better. Have abandoned my other supplements after bad bouts of IBS have scared me off. Also suffering terrible insomnia which is not helping anxiety levels. Frustrating

Hi sallypg. Have you had the saliva cortisol test done? This is worth doing if you haven't already as it gives you clues about whether you have high cortisol, low cortisol or a mixture of highs and lows. Insomnia could indicate that your cortisol goes too high at night, in which case I believe holy basil or seriphos can be helpful. I'm the opposite, with low cortisol levels.

Do you know what your blood pressure is? I ask because I see those tablets contain licorice which can raise blood pressure. I couldn't take it as it raised mine, which was already high.

Hi Rosetrees

My blood pressure is usually normal to low. The blood pressure test where you lie down and sit up indicates my adrenals are pretty bad, also fail the torch into eyeballs test which contracts pupils. I am doing my saliva test tomorrow but have been relying on sleeping pills so need to do it on a day when I get through the night without any drugs. I reckon my cortisol goes high in the early hours of the morning then drops during the day cos I usually nap in the afternoons. Wish I could sleep at night like I do in the afternoon!

Hi Sallypg,  did you have any success with Cytoplan?  I've just discovered it via Thyroiduk and very interested. I currently take Thyrocare from Dr Wilsons Lab in USA which has similar ingredients but is quite expensive,  the postage astronomical and takes ages to get to the UK. Cytoplan might be a good alternative. However I am wary of its iodine content, us thyroid folk have always been warned to steer clear of anything with iodine in, and I did have a bad experience with spirolina once which took a year to resolve.

Anyway, let me know how you got on, I hope it was successful for you and that you are feeling much better!
