GP today.

I managed to get an appointment with my Gp this morning. I went for another reason (headache which gets worse after exertion). She took my blood pressure which was low, and was going to prescribe something for me then realised that I had been to see ENT last Thursday. She looked at his letter then asked me about my painful nodule. I explained everything to her and she decided that my blood pressure could be linked to my thyroid.

I had my thyroid tested this morning and I will now have to wait for 36 hours before I get the results, but I know they will come back... normal...I have hashimotos, untreated, so I guess that is what will happen. I will be refused treatment again based on out dated tests. She did test TSH, T4, T3, RT3, so we will see.

I hope something shows up because I am at the end of my tether....I explained about the tiredness, the headaches, the intolerance of cold, no hair under arms, dry hair and skin, everything...but despite that I am positive I will be left to my own devices to cope.

I know just how you feel. I have Hashis with 'normal' TSH and T4 levels so no treatment for me either despite all the same symptoms you have. But at least your GP seems to be listening to you. Good luck!
